About your Diploma

Biology is a diverse and ever-evolving subject. It has helped us understand everything from the human body to the natural world and climate change. Though, despite everything we know, there is so much more to discover, such as immunology and evolution.

Scientific understanding of our existence helps improve our lives and is vital to our prosperity. Studying Biology, either on its own or complementing another course, will help you to build your knowledge of the subject and how it applies to the world around us.

This GCSE Biology course covers everything from genetics, cell biology and the immune system through to evolution, reproduction, health and the environment. All of this is knowledge that will provide you with the foundations for understanding the material world.

Upon completion of this course, you will have developed your understanding of Biology, including key theories and principles. This will enable you to progress to further study such as A Level or an Access to Higher Education Diploma.
